I’ve made a decision– to try as often as possible to surround myself with positive people. Not necessarily people who give the appearance of always being over-the top happy and seem to have life figured out. No, what I mean is the kind of people who own their difficult stories and yet come away from them strong. People who integrate their falls into their experiences, bringing about a sense of “wholeness” to themselves.
Meet Whitney and Josh. She is the newest #STPBride. They are two people that have this incredible warm presence about them–making you feel like you’ve known them for years. They’re funny, sensitive, adventurous, and V E R Y in love. The kind of people you want to surround yourself with.
Whitney decided to hold her engagement session in a family owned warehouse. The surfaces and textures were a photographer’s delight, along with tiny openings in the building’s exterior that let in these delicious rays of light. Josh and Whitney were pros, working the camera in an old warehouse on a hot, humid summer afternoon. It’s easy to photograph people who have a great time being with each other.
Here are a few of my favorites from their warehouse engagement session.

It’s obvious to all how connected these two are, and Susanna captured it perfectly. She has the uncanny ability of getting shots that tell a story and you can see it!
