Fountain Square Indianapolis Engagement
It was late afternoon on a Sunday when I met Amy and Adam in Fountain Square Indianapolis for their engagement photography session. The area holds a ton of memories for both of them. They locked eyes for the first time at Sam’s Silver Circle . Hung out together on First Friday’s in Fountain Square. And went to Chreece. They’ve spent a lot of time in this charming area of Indianapolis.
A little history -for your inquiring mind. A mile and a half from downtown Indianapolis, Fountain Square was the first commercial historic district in Indiana. Its existing buildings span more than a century of development from 1871 to the present. Today, Fountain Square is one of the six Indianapolis Cultural Districts and is linked to the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, a world class urban bike and pedestrian path that connects to downtown Indianapolis. Pretty cool, right?
The day was crazy hot. I didn’t want to complain or appear unprofessional (ahem), but when they took me up on the suggestions of diving into Thunderbird for a quick refresher, I was jumping for joy inside. The air conditioning was a nice reprieve, and the front window made for a great shot!
You may only have iphone photos and selfies to document memories of your relationship so far. And one day you’ll have wedding photos to remember your wedding day. But you also may want something more laid-back (though still professional) to document this time in your relationship. Just like Amy and Adam have done.
